Morris Elite Soccer Club Announces First Team Performance Training as Official Sports Performance Partner

MADISON, N.J. — August 17, 2026 — Morris Elite Soccer Club is proud to announce a new partnership with First Team Performance Training, which will serve as the club’s Official Speed, Agility, Strength & Conditioning Provider beginning with the 2026/27 season.

The partnership represents another significant step in Morris Elite’s commitment to providing its players with a complete development environment one that goes beyond technical and tactical soccer training to develop the athlete behind the player.

Through the partnership, First Team Performance will provide Morris Elite athletes with access to professional sports performance coaching focused on the physical qualities that directly translate to the field, including speed, acceleration, agility, strength, power, conditioning, movement efficiency, injury resilience, and overall athleticism.

As part of the program, Morris Elite players will have access to four drop in performance training sessions each week, providing additional opportunities to train outside of their regular team practices. The sessions will be designed to complement team training while giving players the flexibility to focus on their individual physical development.

First Team Performance will also provide opportunities for individual and small-group training, athlete assessments, and individualized development plans, allowing training to be tailored to the specific needs and goals of each athlete.

“At First Team Performance, our mission is simple: help athletes maximize their potential and prepare their bodies for the demands of their sport. Morris Elite develops the soccer player, and our job is to help develop the athlete behind the player. We’re excited to bring our experience and resources to the Morris Elite community and help these athletes become faster, stronger, more explosive, and more resilient.”

— Richy Castro, Owner & Founder, First Team Performance Training

First Team Performance has worked with athletes competing at the youth national team, collegiate, professional, and international levels, as well as hundreds of developing athletes throughout New Jersey. The company’s training philosophy is built around identifying areas for improvement and developing athletes through purposeful, sport-specific training rather than simply asking athletes to work harder.

For Morris Elite, the partnership further strengthens the club’s philosophy of providing players with more opportunities to develop and a pathway that addresses every aspect of their growth as athletes.

“Player development has always been at the heart of everything we do at Morris Elite. We believe that developing a player means developing the entire athlete. Technical ability is obviously critical, but speed, strength, movement, conditioning and athleticism are all major pieces of becoming a better soccer player. Partnering with First Team gives our players another high level resource and more opportunities to train, improve and reach their potential. We’re excited about what this will add to our overall player development model.”
