Morris Elite SC to Operate Official New York Cosmos Reserve Team in USL Academy League

MORRISTOWN, NJ – September 22, 2025– Morris Elite Soccer Club is proud to announce that it will operate the official reserve team of the New York Cosmos, set to compete in the USL Academy League beginning this November. This milestone partnership marks the start of a new era for New Jersey soccer, creating a direct and professional pathway for elite players under the legendary Cosmos brand.

The Cosmos Reserve Team – Powered by Morris Elite SC will serve as the crucial bridge between youth and professional soccer, providing players ages 17–21 with elite training, competitive match play, and the opportunity to progress directly to the professional ranks.

  • League: USL Academy League
  • Roster: Top youth and pre-professional players (ages 17–21)
  • For serious players looking to play collegiately and professionally

The Cosmos Reserve Team is designed to prepare players for the demands of professional soccer in a high-performance environment. Standout performers will have the opportunity to be promoted directly to the Cosmos First Team in USL League One, making this a clear youth-to-pro pathway.
