Morris Elite SC Names Baha Basaran Technical Director for 2026/27 Season

MADISON, N.J. — Morris Elite Soccer Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Baha Basaran as Technical Director, beginning with the 2026/27 season.

Basaran joins Morris Elite with extensive experience in youth player development, coaching education, and talent identification.

Throughout his coaching career, Basaran has developed a strong reputation for creating high-level training environments focused on the technical development of young players. His previous experience includes working with ECNL teams at World Class FC, New York Red Bulls RDS, coaching NCAA DII with Bloomfield College, and most recently with TSF Pre-MLS Next teams. He has also worked as a scout for the New York Red Bulls.

Basaran has continued to invest heavily in his coaching education and development:

M.S. in Coach Education from Ohio University, USSF B License, UEFA C from Scotland, TOVO T1 Certification from Spain.

As Technical Director, Basaran will play a key role in overseeing Morris Elite’s technical direction and methodology across the club. He will work closely with the club’s directors and coaching staff to establish consistency throughout the player pathway, support coach development, enhance training standards, and ensure Morris Elite continues providing a high-level developmental environment for players at every age.

Basaran will officially begin his role as Technical Director as Morris Elite enters its 2026/27 season and 10th anniversary year.
