I had a great time interning with the Morris Elite Soccer Club. Though the summer program went by fast, it was the best experience seeing first hand the operations of a top notch club. The internship program at Morris Elite is very well structured and organized, and I would highly recommend it. The staff made this internship even more enjoyable. I would like to personally thank Vincenzo Bernardo for his guidance and exposure to developing successful business strategies. The practical and operational skills I have learned will carry on into my professional career.

My internship at Morris Elite Soccer Club has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I was able to gain hands-on experience that will forever be invaluable. We were able to learn so much from our incredible mentors and each other. Working mainly in game day operations, I was able to see what makes a successful game day. From helping field setup and breakdown to co-running the ticket/concession stands and everything in between, game days were hard work but extremely rewarding. One of the great things about this internship is that it gave each intern versatility. Not only did we work on our respective jobs, we were also able to gain skills and experience in different areas of the industry such as social media, graphic design, marketing, broadcasting, and more. We had the opportunity to work with different leagues throughout our time at Morris Elite that will help broaden our resume and make us a successful candidate for future jobs. I’ll forever be grateful for being given the opportunity to work with such an amazing club.

During my time at Morris Elite Soccer Club in the summer of 2023, I was one of their graphic designers while also working game day operations. The community here was very welcoming and enjoyable to work with. I gained some hands-on experience working with a creative team and designing for their brand. Interning at Morris Elite is a great start for anyone interested in working in the sports industry. It provides a comfortable work environment and great exposure to the club. I'd say the internship is about how much effort you put in to get as much out of it as possible. It is a great opportunity to get your name and face out there to make connections not only with the other interns but the different coaches and players you get to meet! I'd like to thank Vincenzo, Scott, Steph, and Mike for being such friendly faces on and off the field!

I had a great time working as an intern for Morris Elite SC. I gained some great hands-on experience while working with USL Semi-Professional Teams and Youth Leagues. I’ve completed many different tasks during my time. I mostly focused on creating graphics for social media. In addition I did photography, game day operations, player interviews, create tik toks, live tweet, set up media day, and more! I’d like to give a special thank you to Steph Savino and the entire USLW team staff for trusting me and working with me throughout the internship!

During my tenure at Morris Elite, I've been consistently inspired by the relentless pursuit of excellence that defines this organization. My skills were sharpened, my ambitions met with opportunity, and the wisdom gained here has become an invaluable part of my journey. For the camaraderie, mentorship, and the spirit of innovation, I am truly grateful. Here's to Morris Elite, where every challenge is a stepping stone to greatness.

I had a wonderful internship experience this summer as I completed my Masters in Sport Management. I gained an incredible amount of knowledge working on the operations side of the business as well as social media and marketing of the youth programs and USL W League and USL League Two games. I also enjoyed helping out coaching the Developmental Program. Thank you Morris Elite!

This summer I had the opportunity to intern at Morris Elite Soccer Club and gain hands-on experience with USL W League as well as USL League 2. I worked closely with game day operations which allowed me to overlook what a smooth game day looked like. To setting up the banners, making sure the concession stand was fully stocked, and filling up water for the players there was never a dull moment. The staff who worked with us this summer were incredible and were there to answer any questions we had! During this internship I was also able to experience what went on in other departments like graphic design, broadcasting, social media, and sponsorships. Thank you for the best summer Morris Elite!

My internship experience with Morris Elite Soccer Club as the Gameday Operations Manager was very valuable. I was able to gain experience in a leadership role with the freedom to make decisions and improve my professional skills. The group of interns made this experience even more enjoyable by becoming a family over the course of the summer. I would like to thank Vincenzo and Scott for their guidance and opportunity to gain more hands-on experience. 

"I worked as a broadcaster for Morris Elite SC during the 2024 summer. Coming out of the internship, I feel so much more confident in my broadcasting skills as well as in various life skills. I was given so much creative freedom in my craft, as well as support when needed. This opportunity was unique and invaluable and I'm very grateful to have been a part of it. I had the opportunity to work at Morris Elite as an intern during my summer going into senior year at Syracuse University, and I can wholeheartedly say I had the most incredible experience. I was able to work closely with the group of interns (all of whom I had the pleasure of becoming a part of the team with!) while creating social media content for the Morris Elite Cup in June, working the USL League 2 games in the press box, and getting to know the staff of the program. I want to personally shout out Will Reed, who works with the USL League Men's team and youth teams, who positively pushed me to become the best worker I could be. I would also like to shout out Vincenzo Bernardo, for allowing me the opportunity to work with the club and become a part of the family. Go Morris Elite!

" I had a great opportunity to join the Morris Elite staff as an intern this summer going into my senior year at Stockton University. As a soccer player myself while studying graphic design this internship was a great mix of my passions. This internship enhanced my graphic design abilities and showed me what a crucial roll graphics have in the sports marketing department. I was apart of game day operations while being hands on providing live tweets and graphics throughout the game. Along with the great experience, I was also able to learn along side of some other talented interns!  Thank you to Vincenzo for providing me constructive feedback and encouraging me to push past my creative boundaries. “During the summer, I had the privilege of interning with Morris Elite as a Performance Analyst Coach and Game day Operations staff member. In my role as a Performance Analyst, I collaborated closely with the USLW League coaching staff to produce post-match summaries and conduct opposition analysis reports. On match days, I consulted with Head Coach Steph Savino before kickoff and at halftime, providing insights on opposition strategies, transition tendencies, and potential opportunities for our team to capitalize.

As part of the Operations team, I acted as a field marshal throughout the season, collecting rosters and starting lineups for both USLW and USL2 teams for referee reference, ensuring smooth match proceedings. Additionally, I managed match logistics by maintaining real-time statistical records—including goals, assists, saves, substitutions, cards, fouls, and shots—which were communicated promptly to the press box and utilized by the team.

Overall, my experience with Morris Elite significantly enhanced my ability to collaborate with coaches throughout a competitive and dynamic season, along with the skill to create efficient and concise reports. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside my fellow interns and the dedicated coaches and directors at Morris Elite.”
